FAMILY

Proverbs 6:16-19(NKJV) 16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

            Husbands

Proverbs 5:15-18(NKJV) 15 Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.  16 Should your fountains be dispersed abroad, Streams of water in the streets?  17 Let them be only your own, And not for strangers with you.  18 Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth.

Proverbs 18:22(NKJV) 22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.

Proverbs 19:14(NKJV) 14 Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the Lord.

            Wives

Proverbs 2:17-18(NKJV) 17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God. 18 For her house leads down to death, And her paths to the dead;

Proverbs 11:22(NKJV) 22 As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout, So is a lovely woman who lacks discretion.

Proverbs 12:4(NKJV) 4 An£ excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.

Proverbs 14:1(NKJV) 1 The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands.

Proverbs 19:13(NKJV) 13 A foolish son is the ruin of his father, And the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.

Proverbs 21:9(NKJV) 9 Better to dwell in a corner of a housetop, Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.

Proverbs 21:19(NKJV) 19 Better to dwell in the wilderness, Than with a contentious and angry woman.

Proverbs 25:24(NKJV) 24 It is better to dwell in a corner of a housetop, Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.
Proverbs 27:15-16(NKJV) 15 A continual dripping on a very rainy day And a contentious woman are alike; 16 Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, And grasps oil with his right hand.


FRIENDS

Proverbs 12:26(NKJV) 26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Proverbs 13:20(NKJV) 20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

Proverbs 17:17(NKJV) 17 A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

Proverbs 18:24(NKJV) 24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 22:24, 25(NKJV) 24 Make no friendship with an angry man, And with a furious man do not go, 25 Lest you learn his ways And set a snare for your soul.

Proverbs 27:6(NKJV) 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Proverbs 27:9(NKJV) 9 Ointment and perfume delight the heart, And the sweetness of a man’s friend gives delight by hearty counsel.

Proverbs 27:10(NKJV) 10 Do not forsake your own friend or your father’s friend, Nor go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity; Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.

Proverbs 27:14(NKJV) 14 He who blesses his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, It will be counted a curse to him.

Proverbs 27:17(NKJV) 17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Proverbs 14:35(NKJV) 35 The king’s favor is toward a wise servant, But his wrath is against him who causes shame.

Proverbs 17:2(NKJV) 2 A wise servant will rule over a son who causes shame, And will share an inheritance among the brothers.

Proverbs 22:29(NKJV) 29 Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men. The king will be his friend.

Proverbs 24:21(NKJV) 21 My son, fear the Lord and the king; Do not associate with those given to change;

Proverbs 25:6-7(NKJV) 6 Do not exalt yourself in the presence of the king, And do not stand in the place of the great; 7 For it is better that he say to you, “Come up here,” Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen.
